Dr. Virginia Smith is a full-time Professor at Lincoln University's School of Adult & Continuing Education, specializing in social science research, planning, and program evaluation within the Masters of Human Services Program. She holds dual academic credentials: a Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania (concentration in social analysis and planning) and an M.S.W. from the University of Pennsylvania, preceded by a B.S. from Temple University.
Her research and practice focus on gerontology, intergenerational issues, and social service program evaluation. Professionally, she serves on multiple Philadelphia non-profit boards and maintains active memberships in key organizations:
