Virginia Gail Toy

Prof. Virginia Gail Toy is a W2 Professor of Structural Geology and Tectonics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany, and holds an honorary position as Research Professor at the University of Otago, New Zealand. Her research focuses on understanding Earth's structural processes, including fractured geothermal reservoirs, induced seismicity, and earthquake hazard mitigation. She leads a working group exploring fault mechanics and geophysical imaging applications.
