Dr. Virginia A. Franklin is an Associate Professor at St. Francis College (SFC), specializing in Literature, Writing & Publishing. She holds a B.S. from The City College of New York and a Ph.D. from New York University. As a Fulbright Senior Scholar, she taught at the University of Waikato (New Zealand) and researched identity connections between African Americans and Maori in relation to legal frameworks like the U.S. Constitution and Treaty of Waitangi.
