Virgi Sari

Dr. Virgi Sari is a Lecturer in the Department of Social & Policy Sciences at the University of Bath, specializing in development economics and policy evaluation. Her research focuses on welfare analysis, poverty reduction, and the distributional impacts of global challenges like climate change and pandemics. She has taught at institutions including LSE and UCL, and previously worked at The World Bank. Her expertise aligns with UN SDGs, particularly education and sustainable development. She currently supervises doctoral students in quantitative research methodologies and serves as Unit Covenor for courses on Global Political Economy and Development Finance.
