Violeta Milutinović is a Research Associate at the Department of Pharmacognosy, University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. She holds a PhD in Pharmacognosy (2021) and graduated from the same institution in 2011 with a 9.33 GPA.

Her research focuses on phytochemical analysis and pharmacological activity of plant and fungal isolates, with expertise in:
- Chemosystematics of secondary metabolites
- LC-MS and GC-FID-MS analysis
- Antimicrobial and antioxidant activity assessment
- Pharmacological investigations (anti-inflammatory, anticholinesterase, antidiabetic)
Recent publications highlight her work on Balkan Peninsula plant species, including Hieracium (Asteraceae), Prangos trifida (Apiaceae), Aloe vera waste valorization, and Pyrus phenolics. Her projects span national and bilateral collaborations with Bulgarian institutions.

Current projects include 'Hemotaxonomic research and biological potential of the group Stachys recta (Lamiaceae) from the Balkan Peninsula' (2023-start) and previous involvement in national project 173021 (2015-2019).
