Vinil Shah

Vinil Shah, MD, is an Associate Professor and Chief of Neuroradiology in the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. He specializes in spinal and peripheral nerve imaging and interventions, serving as the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Shah received his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, completed residency at UCSF, and fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital. His research focuses on spinal imaging biomarkers, clinical outcomes of interventions, structured reporting, and radiology education.
