Vincent Wieland

Vincent Wieland is a Researcher at the Life and Medical Sciences Institute (LIMES) of the University of Bonn. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Bonn, specializing in stochastic analysis, and earned a B.Sc. in Economics. Currently, he is pursuing a master's degree in Economics while conducting research in stochastic modeling of disease progression under Prof. Hasenauer.

His research focuses on stochastic differential equation models, Bayesian inference, clinical trajectory analysis, and infectious diseases. Vincent has contributed to a 2025 publication in the Journal of Mathematical Biology that introduces a stochastic framework for cancer patient trajectories, covering tumor growth, metastasis, and survival.
