Dr. Vincent Seminck serves as Assistant Professor at Utrecht University's School of Law within the Institute of Constitutional, Administrative Law and Legal Theory. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Amsterdam, followed by dual Master's degrees in Laws and Philosophy from Leiden University, culminating in a PhD from the University of Amsterdam in May 2024 under supervisors Josef Früchtl and Marc de Wilde.
His research centers on applying continental philosophical frameworks to contemporary legal and political challenges, with particular expertise in Nietzschean and Schmittian theories of conflict, friendship, and enmity.
