Vincent Seffinga is a Researcher at the University of Oslo's Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas, affiliated with the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the European University Institute (2024) and advanced degrees in International and European Tax Law (LL.M., University of Amsterdam, 2017) and Public International Law (LL.M., University of Amsterdam, 2016). His research focuses on international space law, governance of the global commons, legal and political philosophy, and spatial law. Currently, he contributes to the ERC-funded DynamiTE project, examining territorial dynamics and governance challenges in outer space.
