Vincent Pizzuto, PhD, is a Full-Time Faculty member at the University of San Francisco, serving as Professor of New Testament and Christian Mysticism in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies. He is also an Episcopal priest and Vicar of St. Columba’s Episcopal Church & Retreat House in Inverness, California.

- PhD (STD) in New Testament Exegesis, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (2003)
His research bridges historical-critical exegesis with theological interpretations of Scripture, focusing on Christian mysticism, cosmic Christology, and sustainable theology. His work addresses contemporary issues like climate change, social justice, and inter-spiritual dialogue through a scriptural lens.
Recent publications include explorations of Colossians’ cosmic Christology, ecological hermeneutics, and apophatic theology. These works reflect his expertise in structural biblical analysis and theological engagement with modern societal challenges.
