Vince Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU). With over 30 years of experience as an occupational therapist, he specializes in adult/geriatric care, dementia care, and mental health. Previously an adjunct instructor at IWU, he transitioned to full-time faculty. His clinical background includes work in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), Veterans Affairs (VA) settings, and home health, with a brief stint in pediatrics. He holds certifications as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP).
Education:
- Doctorate from Eastern Kentucky University
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BS OT) from University of Puget Sound
Research Interests: Focuses on applying occupational therapy principles to improve care for aging populations and individuals with dementia. Integrates assistive technology solutions into therapeutic practices to enhance patient independence and quality of life.
Personal: Married for over 40 years with two married children and eight grandchildren. Enjoys outdoor activities and opportunities to share his faith.
