Vinai Gondi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He serves as Service Line Director of Radiation Oncology for the Northwestern Medicine West Region, overseeing clinical, research, and educational operations across multiple cancer centers, including the Northwestern Medicine Proton Center and Cancer Centers in Warrenville, Delnor, and Kishwaukee. He is also Co-Director of the Brain & Spine Tumor Center at the Northwestern Medicine Cancer Center Warrenville.
Dr. Gondi is an internationally recognized expert in brain, skull base, and spine tumors, as well as bone and soft tissue sarcomas. His research focuses on advancing radiation techniques like proton therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and tumor-treating fields to minimize cognitive side effects and enhance treatment efficacy. He has published over 100 papers and serves as Principal Investigator on multiple national and international clinical trials.
