Vimal Selvaraj is a Professor in the Department of Animal Science at Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). With a veterinary background and postgraduate research in immunology, reproductive biology, and neuroscience/regenerative medicine, his expertise spans molecular to organismal biology.
Research Interests:
- Mitochondrial function in disease and cancer
- Applications of bovine pluripotent stem cells
- Sustainable livestock feed production
Teaching: He leads the undergraduate course BIOAP 1100/ANSC 1100: Domestic Animal Biology and the graduate series ANSC 6220: Graduate Student Research Updates.
