Vikas Kailankaje

Vikas Kailankaje is a Lecturer in Design Communication at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. He holds advanced qualifications in architecture, including a Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Diploma in Interior Architecture and Design from Temasek Polytechnic.

His research and practice focus on urban graphics in Singapore and mapping social and urban histories through walking tours. He previously founded STUDIO VBK, a critical design practice specializing in information and document design.

Publications include Building Memories: People, Architecture, Independence (2016), which explores historical narratives through design, and analyses of Singapore’s urban transformation under Lee Kuan Yew (2013) and the FuturArc Forum (2011). His work intersects sustainable urbanism, architectural documentation, and design journalism.
