Dr. Vijaya Murthy is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School, specializing in management accounting, management control systems, and sustainability accounting. She holds a BCom (Hons) from Macquarie University, an MCom from the University of Madras, an MPhil from Madurai Kamaraj University, and a PhD. Her research focuses on non-financial information use in management decisions, qualitative methodologies, and historical accounting practices like those in ancient India's Arthasastra.
Dr. Murthy teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management accounting, financial accounting, and accounting systems design.
