Vidya Panicker is a Senior Lecturer in International Business and Programme Lead for MSc International Business at Loughborough Business School, Loughborough University. Her academic career spans roles since 2018, combined with five years of prior technical experience in Indian IT firms. She holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
Her research focuses on governance mechanisms, board dynamics, and their impact on organizational outcomes like internationalization, innovation, and sustainability. Key areas include family ownership effects, institutional investor roles, director interlocks, and CSR strategies in emerging markets. Her work appears in top journals such as Journal of World Business and International Business Review.
