Dr. Victoria Uren is a Lecturer in Operations and Service Management at Aston Business School, Aston University. Her research explores applications of artificial intelligence in business contexts, social media analytics, and game-based approaches in management education.
Current projects examine technology readiness for AI adoption, functional illiteracy in technology design, and game-based feedback models for education. She teaches eBusiness, systems analysis, and project management modules, serving as co-director of the BSc Business Computing and IT programme.
Recent publications investigate AI adoption journeys, mobile UX for functionally illiterate users, and reinforcement learning for supply chain optimization.
