Victoria Team

Dr. Victoria Team is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Monash University. She holds a Doctor of Medicine from Donetsk State Medical University and advanced public health qualifications from the University of Melbourne. Her primary research focuses on wound management (particularly pressure injuries and venous leg ulcers), implementation science, and immigrant health. She leads the Monash Partners capacity-building initiative for pressure injury prevention and has designed clinical education programs for frontline healthcare workers.

Key roles include Associate Editor for Frontiers in Communication and Managing Editor for Medical Anthropology. She has coordinated NHMRC-funded projects translating evidence-based practices into primary care and currently supervises PhD students in health services research. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health equity and education.

Recent projects include A-PRECISE (infection prevention in aged care) and investigations into BMI-related pressure injury risks.
