Dr. Victoria Riley is a Research Fellow at Staffordshire University's Centre for Health and Development (CHAD), where she conducts research across CHAD's three focus areas. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling, MSc in Health Psychology (Merit), and PhD from Staffordshire University.
Her expertise includes NHS Health Checks, cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk assessment, practitioner training, health promotion, and qualitative methodologies. She has led research projects including the Digital NHS Health Check Evaluation (OHID), Heart Age test evaluation (PHE), and studies examining physical activity/alcohol measurement in NHSHC.
Dr. Riley has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on cardiovascular risk communication, health check implementation, and the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations. She collaborates with Smart Health Solutions Ltd on CVD risk communication training.
