Dr Victoria Rawlings is a Senior Lecturer and ARC DECRA Fellow at the University of Sydney's Sydney School of Education and Social Work. She holds a BEd(Hons) and PhD from the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on gender, sexuality, and schooling, with a particular emphasis on creating inclusive educational environments. She co-directs the Hunt-Simes Institute for Sexuality Studies and serves on the NSW LGBTIQ+ Advisory Council. Her work spans queer science, sport equity (e.g., women in Australian Football umpiring), and LGBTQ+ youth mental health. Recent projects include ARC-funded initiatives on school-based consent education and NSW Department of Communities and Justice grants on gender diversity workshops.
