Victoria McReynolds serves as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University's Huckabee College of Architecture, where she leverages West Texas light and landscape as a laboratory for design studios. Based on the Llano Estacado in West Texas, she maintains active architectural practice alongside her academic role.
Her educational background includes:
- Master of Architecture from Cranbrook Academy of Art

Research focuses on site-specific conditions and light phenomena, demonstrated through a seven-month Pacific Coast survey spanning 110 degrees of latitude across North and South America. She pioneered design studios examining urban environments shaped by gravity and water in Valparaíso, Chile (2011) and Venice, Italy (2014), with work exhibited globally from Chicago's Crown Hall to London School of Economics.
Key recognitions include:
- 2015 Center for Art + Environment Research Fellowship (Nevada Museum of Art)
