Victoria Malone serves as Director for Study Abroad and Senior International Officer at Union University’s Center for Intercultural Engagement, alongside her role as Assistant Professor of Language. She holds a B.A. in French Studies and dual M.A. degrees in Modern European History and Nineteenth Century French Literature from Northern Illinois University. Her career spans academia and industry: she taught French and Intercultural Studies at Union after a brief stint as a translator and customer service professional. Malone pioneered Union’s Study Abroad program, establishing its office and leading annual summer programs in Angers, France since 2011. She represents Union at the Forum for International Education and maintains affiliations with the Forum for Education Abroad, TFLTA, and PHI Sigma Iota.
