معرفی
Victor Wu is a Lecturer at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Sydney. He recently completed his PhD in 2025 under the supervision of Associate Professor Nathan Brownlowe with Associate Professor Anne Thomas as his auxiliary supervisor. He maintains an office in Room 487 of the Carslaw Building (F07) and teaches MATH1062 and MATH1064 in Semester 2 of 2025.
Dr. Wu's research focuses on Geometric Group Theory, particularly Coxeter Groups and Buildings Theory. His work examines group actions on geometric structures and their algebraic properties. His recent publication with established faculty members demonstrates his contribution to understanding multitrees and K-theory of crossed products.
His research output shows strong connections to geometric structures and algebraic representations. The 2025 publication indicates active engagement with current developments in geometric group theory, particularly exploring the intersection of group actions with algebraic K-theory.
- Currently teaching MATH1062 (weeks 2-13) and MATH1064 (weeks 2-8, 10-13)
- Office location: Room 487, Carslaw Building (F07)
