Dr. Victor Wong is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Griffith University, specializing in sustainable finance, socially responsible investing, and financial technologies. He holds a PhD from Griffith University and serves as Deputy Program Director for Commerce. His research examines ESG portfolio performance, water investments, renewable energy markets, and fintech applications.
Dr. Wong has led APEC Financial Inclusion Forums and received multiple teaching awards including the 2023 Excellence in Teaching Award. His recent publications explore CBDCs, robo-advisory trust mechanisms, and CO2 emissions accounting. Current research projects investigate blockchain applications and climate-aligned financial products.
He supervises doctoral candidates in sustainable infrastructure investment and digital finance. As Director of Learning & Teaching (2022-2024), he developed innovative finance curricula integrating experiential learning and fintech competencies.
