Victor Pimentel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the College of Business, New Mexico State University. His expertise spans Supply Chain/Business Analytics, with a focus on Revenue Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Neural Networks. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management (Washington State University, ongoing since 2018) and a B.S. in Operations and Supply Management from the University of Texas at El Paso. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt certified by the Institute of Electric and Electrical Engineers.
His research explores topics such as supply chain resilience, AI-driven inventory control, and hotel revenue optimization. He has received a Summer Research Grant (2018) from Niagara University. Teaching interests include Operations Management, Supply Chain strategies, and Business Analytics. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in hospitality, healthcare, and industrial systems.
Recent publications highlight contributions to supply chain disruption modeling, hospital operational efficiency, and algorithmic solutions for revenue management.
