Victor Lee

Victor Lee is a Departmental Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at the University of Oxford, where he also teaches at Oriel College and St. Anne’s College. He specializes in second-year undergraduate Organic Synthesis II courses.

Research Interests focus on natural product synthesis and methodology development, particularly biomimetic approaches inspired by evolutionary strategies in nature. His work emphasizes the design of elegant synthetic routes and the development of efficient reactions like the CuI/CsF-modified Stille coupling.

Publication Trends include marine sponge metabolites, stereoelectronic control, organometallic catalysis, and structure-activity relationship studies. His synthetic methodologies have been widely adopted in both natural product and materials chemistry.
