Victor Krusborg Olesen is a Researcher at the Department of Politics and Society within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Aalborg University. He is affiliated with the CARMA Centre for Labour Market Research and the SSH Children and Youth Research Network.
His research focuses on ableism in labor markets, social inclusion of marginalized groups, and policy frameworks for work integration. Current projects include the Active Inclusion of Young People with Psychiatric Diagnoses in Work (2025-2028), funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark.
Recent publications analyze flexjobs' role in reinforcing ableist norms and critique societal assumptions about human-animal relationships. Collaborators include Torben Bredgaard, Svend Brinkmann, and Emilie Skyum-Jensen.
