Lene Tolstrup Sørensen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, affiliated with The Technical Faculty of IT and Design. Her research focuses on usable privacy, cybersecurity, and gamified learning platforms, with a strong emphasis on human-computer interaction and GDPR compliance. She leads projects like FGPE++ (Gamified Programming Learning) and contributes to initiatives such as the Danish-Japanese Network on Cybersecurity and the Nordic PROPHET ICT program.
