Victor Armony is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). He holds the Canada Research Chair in Globalization, Citizenship and Democracy and directs the Center for ATO (Computer Text Analysis). Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa.
His research focuses on citizenship dynamics, cultural identities in global contexts, North-South relations in the Americas, and political discourse analysis.
