Vicky Hsieh

Vicky Hsieh is a Board-Certified Clinical Instructor and Director of Genetic Services in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She specializes in prenatal and preconception genetics, genetic testing, and non-invasive prenatal screening.

Education:

• B.S. in Cell Biology and Genetics & Psychology, University of British Columbia
• M.S. in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling, Sarah Lawrence College (2017)

Research Interests: Vicky Hsieh’s work focuses on prenatal genetics, medical genetics, and genetic counseling, with expertise in cell-free DNA screening. Her clinical practice extends to cancer, pediatric, and neuromuscular genetics, and she supervises genetic counseling students as a Clinical Supervisor.
