Professor Vicki W. Girard is a Professor of Law, Legal Practice and Co-Director of the Georgetown University Health Justice Alliance. She holds a B.A. from Drew University and a J.D. from Georgetown University. Her work focuses on medical-legal partnerships (MLPs) that integrate legal services into healthcare to address health-harming legal issues, particularly for marginalized communities. She collaborates with Georgetown University Medical Center and MedStar Health to develop innovative MLP models addressing systemic health disparities.
