Vicki Hearne is a Lecturer in Dance at Bath Spa University, affiliated with the Bath School of Music and Performing Arts. She specializes in contemporary dance technique, performance, and dance history, while serving as a choreographic supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

Her research and teaching focus on the intersection of dance history, philosophy, and feminist theory, with an emphasis on gender identity and socio-political themes in dance pedagogy. She founded The Confidence Project, an outreach initiative empowering women through movement and dialogue, in collaboration with Professor Simone Fullagar (University of Bath).
Vicki is the Artistic Director of Untold Dance Theatre, supported by Arts Council England, which creates feminist-informed socio-political dance theatre works. She also co-directs Gerry’s Attic, a performance company for over-55s, and has extensive experience in community dance sectors, including co-directing Kinesis Youth Dance Company (2013–2018).
Professional memberships include People Dancing, and her teaching specialisms span performance, choreography, dance history, and dissertation supervision. She has performed with companies such as Julia Thorneycroft, State of Emergency, and Chhaya Collective.
