Prof. Dr. Vesna Dimovska is a Full Professor at the Institute for Classical Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She holds leadership roles, including Head of the Third Cycle Studies in Classical Philology and former Head of the Institute for Classical Studies. Her career spans over 35 years, with academic promotions from junior assistant (1987) to Full Professor (2011). She is a national coordinator for international Latin competitions (ECCL-ELEX) and a founding member of the Association of Classical Philologists “Antika” (2001–2009).
Her education includes a Master’s degree (1995) and Ph.D. (2000) in Classical Studies. She authored/co-authored over 50 scholarly papers and textbooks, focusing on Latin paleography, classical didactics, and the reception of classical culture. Notable works include translations of classical texts (e.g., Apuleius, Tacitus) and collaborative textbooks like Elementa Linguae Latinae Medicinalis (2013).
