Prof. Ratko Duev is a Full Professor at the Institute for Classical Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM). Born in 1970, he holds a PhD in Classical Studies (defended 2010), with academic roles progressing from junior assistant (2000) to Full Professor (2020). He has led administrative roles including Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy (2017–2021), Vice Dean for Finance (2013–2017), and coordinator for student admissions and Open Day events. His research focuses on classical mythology, ancient religions, Mycenaean studies, and ancient music, with over 800 edited publications. He is editor of Ziva Antika and contributed to national committees for cultural awards and textbooks.
