Veronique Petit is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Delaware, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences and the Bartol Research Institute. She holds a Ph.D. from Université Laval and has been at UD since 2017. Her research focuses on magnetism in massive stars, including magnetic field detection, stellar evolution, and magnetospheric interactions. She leads the Magnetism in Massive Stars (MiMeS) research group, which uses spectropolarimetry and simulations to study stellar magnetic fields' impact on star evolution.
