Veronika Michitsch

Veronika Michitsch serves as a Senior Scientist (Mag.Dr.) at the University of Klagenfurt, holding dual affiliations with the Department of Transnational Migration and Solidarity Research and the Department of School Pedagogy and Historical Educational Research where she contributes to teaching activities. Her office is located in Space N.2.59 of the Main Building's North Wing East.

Her research spans critical educational domains with emphasis on early childhood education across multiple dimensions: media/digital literacy, nature/environmental education, historical perspectives, refugee contexts, and sustainable development. She investigates transition processes between kindergarten and school systems while focusing on quality development in educational institutions and professionalization of educators.
