Veronica Wisnewski-Parks is an Instructor in the Department of English at Western Carolina University's College of Arts and Sciences. She holds an A.A. from Alamance Community College, a B.A. in English from UNC-Greensboro, and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from NC State University. Her research interests span Writing Assessment, Community College Transfer Dynamics, Linguistics, and Medieval/Russian Golden Age Literature. She has taught diverse populations, including high school equivalency students, Girl Scouts, and student athletes.
