Dr. Veronica Oana Nechita is a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at Babeș-Bolyai University, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Chair of Algebra, Analysis, and Geometry. She specializes in complex analysis, geometric function theory, and mathematical analysis, with a focus on univalent functions and differential operators. Her work often involves topics like Roper-Suffridge extension operators, starlike mappings, and superordinations in several complex variables.
Her research includes contributions to differential subordinations, operator theory, and geometric properties of analytic functions. Notable publications address the application of generalized derivatives (e.g., Sălăgean and Ruscheweyh operators) to univalence criteria and analytic function classes. She has authored a textbook, *Contribuţii în teoria funcţiilor univalente* (2008), and collaborates on grants such as UEFISCSU PN II-ID-524.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on Analytic Geometry and Complex Analysis. She actively participates in academic communities, including the 1997 Mathematics Promotion alumni network at Babeș-Bolyai University. Her research spans foundational studies (e.g., univalence conditions in the unit disk) to modern advancements in multi-variable complex analysis.
