Dr. Vernon Miller is a Professor in the Department of Communication at Michigan State University's College of Communication Arts and Sciences, with a joint appointment in the Department of Management. His research examines organizational communication dynamics, focusing on employment interviews, role negotiation, and large-scale organizational change.
His scholarly contributions include editorial leadership as former Associate Editor of Management Communication Quarterly and chair of the Organizational Communication division at the National Communication Association. He has authored three books addressing communication perspectives in human resource management and job performance appraisal.
