Verena Kreilinger

Verena Kreilinger is a Researcher at the Department of Sociology and Social Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, within the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria. Her work bridges sociology, human geography, and energy system analysis.

Research interests include:

• Energy Return on Investment (EROI) and productivity
• Material and CO2 intensity of energy transitions
• Hydrogen economies and their limitations
• Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) penalties
• Energy efficiency measures for consumption reduction
