Verena Gaudy serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Art and Art History within the College of Liberal and Fine Arts at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is also co-owner of Un Grito Gallery, an artist-run exhibition space in San Antonio's Blue Star Arts Complex.
Her educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts from UTSA (2015–2018), a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Ceramics from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (2002–2005), and a Foundation Course in Art and Design from Barry College (2000–2001).
Gaudy's artistic practice centers on ceramics and performance art, with a focus on collaborative projects. She works extensively with her husband Martín C. Rodríguez, creating performances featured at the Fuse Box Festival and Soundspace at the Blanton in Austin, as well as Luminaria and CAM Contemporary Art Month in San Antonio.
