Vered Sakal is an Associate Professor and the Bertram and Gladys Aaron Professor of Jewish Studies at Christopher Newport University (CNU), affiliated with the Department of Philosophy and Religion and the Honors Program. She holds a PhD in Jewish Thought from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, alongside multiple MA degrees in Jewish Thought, Nonprofit Management, and Rabbinical Ordination, as well as a BA in Jewish Philosophy from Tel Aviv University.
