Velma Latson

Velma C. Latson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Technology & Security at Bowie State University. She is affiliated with key initiatives including the HBCU-Data Science Consortium as Co-chair and the Maryland Center of Computing Education Steering Committee. Her work focuses on advancing data science education and equity in computing access across K-12 and higher education systems.
