Vassilis Voutsakis is a Professor of Philosophy of Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA), affiliated with the Law School. He holds a Doctorat d'Etat en droit public from the University of Montpellier I (1993), and has taught at multiple departments, including Media, History & Archaeology (graduate studies), and currently at the Department of Early Childhood Education (post-graduate studies). His research focuses on philosophy of law, legal methodology, political philosophy, and ethics.

Publications: Recent works include Privacy. A theory of a right (2020) and Culture and the State (2020). His articles span topics such as political rights, cultural policy, and the philosophical foundations of legal realism.
Labs/Teams: He serves as Vice-Director of the Philosophy of Law Laboratory and editor of Isopoliteia, a philosophy of law periodical.
