Vasile Rednic

Dr. Vasile Rednic is a Researcher at the National Institute for Research and Development in Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (ITIM) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is affiliated with the Department of Materials, Energy and Advanced Technologies and serves as a key expert in projects related to renewable energy and materials science. His research focuses on solid-state physics, solar power, fluid mechanics, nanomaterials, and magnetic material characterization.

• Education: PhD in Physics (2010, joint between Babeș-Bolyai University and University of Osnabrück); BSc in Physics (2004, Babeș-Bolyai University).

Dr. Rednic has led and contributed to significant R&D projects, including "Concentrator Solar with Multiple Foci and Stirling Engine," structural characterization of supported metal catalysts, and studies on electronic/magnetic properties of intermetallic compounds. His work emphasizes environmental applications, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions via catalytic technologies.
