Vangelis Kalogerakis

Vangelis Kalogerakis is an Associate Professor at the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research focuses on AI/ML-driven graphics and vision algorithms for 3D modeling, scene generation, and processing of geometric data. He leads a group of students and has been supported by NSF grants and donations from Adobe.

Research Interests: Development of algorithms for generating 3D models, processing 3D scans, and analyzing shape collections. His work intersects AI, robotics, and computer vision to simplify 3D world representation.
