Vanessa Valero

Vanessa Valero is a Professor of Economics at the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT Business School) and an external fellow at the Centre for Decision Research and Experimental Economics (CeDEx) at the University of Nottingham. Her academic work bridges behavioral economics, experimental methods, and social preferences.

Her research focuses on understanding the psychological foundations of prosocial behavior, fairness, and deservingness in market contexts, as well as the demand for redistribution. Earlier, she specialized in contract theory applied to procurement and regulation.
