Vanessa Ratten is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at La Trobe Business School, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship education, sport entrepreneurship, innovation in emerging economies, and digital transformation. She holds a PhD from the University of Queensland and has over 20 years of experience in teaching at AACSB-accredited institutions globally. Dr. Ratten is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Management & Organization and Journal of Family Business Management, and has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles, 7 sole-authored books, and co-edited 20+ volumes. Her honors include Stanford's Top 2% Global Scientists (2022) and Australia's 2025 field leadership in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
