Vanessa Gemis

Vanessa Gemis is a researcher in literary history and the sociology of literature at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). She holds dual appointments: as a research logistics officer in the Faculty of Arts, Translation and Communication, and as a research associate at the Philixte center, which specializes in philological, literary, and textual studies. Her doctoral work analyzed women's roles in French-language Belgian literary culture between 1880 and 1940.
