Van Ntassey is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Bath, specializing in macroeconomic modeling and labor market dynamics. His doctoral research examined labor market informality and mobility impacts on macroeconomic fluctuations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics along with an MRes in Economics, an MSc in Finance, a PgDip in Economics, and a BA in Accounting and Finance. His current research applies machine learning to analyze segmented markets and models UK labor markets including gig economy impacts.
